Christmas Partial Shutdown

Lifebridge will conduct a partial Christmas shutdown from Saturday 23rd December, 2023 until 1st January 2024. The office and all services will resume on Tuesday 2nd January, 2024.

During this period Group Programs and non-essential CHSP services will be suspended. Essential services will continue to be provided to Lifebridge customers during this period.

Lifebridge customers are encouraged to discuss with their Customer Care Manager service requirements during this Christmas period. Early notification enables us to better plan for staff leave during the festive season.

T’was the Season

It was the end of another busy and productive year and the spirits were high. Everyone ready to celebrate their individual achievements and enjoy the Christmas festivities. On December 20, 2017 and on December 22, 2017 our Disability and Aged Care customers joined in their respective Christmas Party celebrations, mingled and had a good old laugh.

Disability Services

It was a stunning day for Disability Services, the sun shining brightly and the BBQ firing. Hit songs were being pumped out the music box and the dance floor a smash. People were dressed in costume and there was even a surprise visit from Santa Claus himself. The expressions of pure delight when Santa arrived, priceless.

Aged Care Services

For Aged Care a slightly different slant to their Christmas party celebrations. They were treated to the soulful sounds of Rhydian Lewis, swing and jazz musician, in the cool comfort of Tweed Heads Bowls Club. A delicious lunch was served, complete with all the trimmings and after cracking their Bon-Bons and donning their paper hats everyone joined in singing Christmas carols. Christmas raffles were drawn on the day, with many taking home some fantastic prizes.

Behind the Scenes of our Christmas Photoshoot

It’s that exciting time of year again. Christmas decorations are lining the local streets, more and more houses are beginning to sparkle at night and everybody’s favourite, tinsel, is being bought by the metre.

Christmas is just weeks away and we too wanted to take part in festive season. This year, our very own photo-shoot capturing our participants in the Multi Media Photography group and in the Cottage and Social Outing groups donning Santa hats, reindeer ears and showing-off their best Christmas smiles.

Our fantastic models for the shoot, lapped up the lime-light. They trudged from one end of Kingscliff beach to the other in the search for the perfect backdrop. They struck pose after pose, pulled silly faces, sang songs and dished out the most brilliant smiles for the countless photos taken. Best of all they shared a laugh and had heaps fun in doing so. So, for all those sore cheeks, it was definitely worth it.

The photos taken as part of the shoot will be a feature on this year’s Christmas cards to be sent out later in December.
