    The Art Hub gears up for the Murwillumbah Art Trail 2019

    The Murwillumbah Art Hub is busy preparing for this year’s Murwillumbah Art Trail (MAT19). Over four days from May 16th to 19th, 2019, the township of Murwillumbah will transform into a gallery for art, performance, sculpture, film and dance. The Visual Arts Group are proud to be involved in this community event and invite you to experience ‘Uninhibited’, a group exhibition from the artists of Lifebridge Australia.

    Murwillumbah Art Hub a stand-out feature in this year’s MAT18

    “The raw honesty of these artists is inspiring. It was my favourite exhibition so far.” said one of the many visitors to our exhibition simply titled, ‘Uninhibited’. Revolving around the theme of ‘Moving On’, in reference to those affected by the 2017 floods that devastated the Murwillumbah community, MAT18 was a ten-day contemporary, diverse and interactive arts festival celebrating art in all its forms with 90 artists exhibiting in over 33 pop up galleries. Our Murwillumbah Art Hub was the talk of the town during the event, with over a staggering 690 people visiting the gallery.     We’re settling in – Tweed Heads Seagulls Hub

    We are delighted to report that our first day at the new Tweed Heads Seagulls Hub went very well. Our customers experienced minimal disruption or challenges which can be associated with change and this is a credit to the extensive preparation the team implemented, not only on our first day but also in the weeks leading up to the move. Customers are already experiencing positive outcomes with groups spending increased time participating in the community and reduced wait/down times. Customers are also taking full advantage of becoming Seagulls members, accessing the main complex, outside garden areas, water views and menu sampling. For many of our customers a pension card has…

    Tweed Hub within Seagulls Club

    On Thursday March 29, 2018 Lifebridge Australia will be officially out of our Caloola Centre and we’re excited to announce our brand-new Tweed Heads Hub within the Seagulls Club on Gollan Drive, Tweed Heads. Our Tweed Heads Seagulls Hub will be opening on Tuesday April 3, 2018 with all remaining Caloola based programs transitioning to our new Hub. The opening of our new hub, and in line with recent changes, is to continue promoting community integration, participation and inclusion of people with disability.     We’re at Murwillumbah

    Murwillumbah is a town known to many for its rich history and timeless preservation. Its enviable weather, its alternativeness and its rural atmosphere. The town is home to many wanting to make a change from city-living and home to many talented artists. As of February 1, 2018, Murwillumbah officially opened its doors to Lifebridge who now have a shop front and Murwillumbah Hub at 1, 131 Murwillumbah St, Murwillumbah.
