Jocelyn – an artist success story

Jocelyn has, with great pride, presented her art piece ‘Dare to Sting’ to the Ray White staff who were suitable impressed and thrilled with their acquisition.  The empty walls of the Ray White conference room are now adorned with a unique piece of art for all to appreciate.

MAT19 – a raging success

Over the space of four days, the Murwillumbah Art Hub had over 800 visitors through the doors and they sold over $1,800 worth of art works! The ‘Uninhibited’ exhibition was so popular that they had to extend the opening hours over the weekend in order to keep up with demand! As always, the public totally embraced our artists’ work with many return customers from last years event.

Gold Coast Disability Expo 2019

The Gold Coast Disability Expo is set to be the biggest and most anticipated Disability Expo on the 2019 Gold Coast City Calendar. The Art Hub gears up for the Murwillumbah Art Trail 2019

The Murwillumbah Art Hub is busy preparing for this year’s Murwillumbah Art Trail (MAT19). Over four days from May 16th to 19th, 2019, the township of Murwillumbah will transform into a gallery for art, performance, sculpture, film and dance. The Visual Arts Group are proud to be involved in this community event and invite you to experience ‘Uninhibited’, a group exhibition from the artists of Lifebridge Australia.

Living with Dementia Program

The Living with Dementia Program is a national initiative of Dementia Australia and is funded by the Australian Government. This education and support program aims to maximise the health and well-being of people living with early stage dementia and their carers.

On Tuesday February 19, 2019 we will be at the Byron Shire Seniors Festival and Expo, the first of its kind in the Byron Shire. The Festival is free to attend and will have information stalls from local organisations, entertainment, presentations and interactive activities for seniors. These represent the dynamic activities and services available for seniors in our area, from death rites, legal issues, health and wellness to drama and dancing and sports, comedian and films
