The staff and volunteers of Lifebridge Australia are the pillars of the organisation. They are the foundation that enables the organisations success and more importantly facilitates the success of our customers.

Lifebridge are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated team of volunteers who devote their time to help us deliver exceptional services to our customers.

Perhaps you would like to make a difference in your community, gain work experience, rekindle and share a hobby or passion you love with others or just enjoy the company of those around you.  Lifebridge is always on the look out for new people to join our team.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:

  • Kitchen Assistant – Tuesday and Fridays – 10am to 2pm
  • Social Support Group – Weekdays – 9am to 4pm
  • Handyperson/Gardener – Flexible for 2 to 4 hours per week.

VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Lifebridge have a wonderful group of volunteers who come together to help deliver our vision of independence and inclusion for the aged and people with a disability within our community.  We pride ourselves on recruiting the right people for the right roles and we are looking for dedicated, passionate, positive and caring people to join our team.  If we sound like an organisation that shares your values, we would love to hear from you.

TYPES OF ROLES

Group Support

Assisting with provision of professional, high quality and safe supports to Lifebridge customers at home, in accommodation, in groups, in the community and one on one services in accordance with their care plans and goals.

Social Support

Assisting with personal home care support enabling our customers to maintain independence and remain in their home.

Assisting with social support and community access which may include respite, transport to appointments, shopping, social activities.

Kitchen Support

The Kingscliff Cottage is equipped with a full commercial kitchen from which we provide delicious and healthy meals to our customers.  Assisting with food preparation, menu plans, serving of customers in the cottage dining room and cleaning.

Administration Support

We have a range of administration functions that include General Administration, Reception, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Rostering and Scheduling, Human Resources, Quality Assurance, Communications, Marketing and Information Technology.

Gardening Support

The Kingscliff Cottage has an extensive garden area for the enjoyment of our staff, volunteers and customers.  Assisting with general gardening duties, mowing, using a whipper snipper, weeding, preparing garden beds, watering, tending to vegetable gardens and planting of herbs, plants and vegetable seedlings.
