Have your considered volunteering?

Volunteering is a great way to add meaning and purpose to your life, while also providing valuable assistance to the entire Lifebridge Community.  By volunteering in our kitchen, our garden or teaching a particular skill, starting a men’s group, running a book club or knitting group, you’ll be able to use your skills and talents to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

You’ll also be able to meet and connect with other volunteers, staff members and customers, forming new friendships and relationships.

Volunteering has many benefits including improving your physical and mental health, increasing your social networks, and providing a sense of fulfillment and
satisfaction. It can also help you develop new skills, and explore new interests and hobbies.

There is so much talent, wisdom and experience within our community that it is wrong to let it go to waste.  Why not join us and become a volunteer today? Together, we can make a positive impact.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:

  • Kitchen Assistant – Tuesday and Fridays – 10am to 2pm
  • Social Support Group – Weekdays – 9am to 4pm
  • Handyperson/Gardener – Flexible for 2 to 4 hours per week.

For further information or to discuss any ideas further, please contact reception on 1800 043 186 and ask to speak with Janelle Egas or forward your interest to [email protected]

We would love to hear from you.
